Wine event to enjoy with food in Hakuba, welcoming spring

“Domaine Oyama” from Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, “VOTANO WINE” from Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, and “Minamimuki Brewery” from Nakagawa Village, Nagano Prefecture. Wines created while facing each land at the foot of the Koshin Alps gather in Hakuba to welcome spring. At the restaurant “La Vigne Dining Fudo,” surrounded by the remaining snow-capped mountains, please enjoy the taste of Japanese wine that feels fresh and spring-like, along with seasonal food. On the day, you can welcome the creators of each winery and enjoy the arrival of spring while feeling their handwork and background.

1st Anniversary Event, Third Edition
Once-in-a-lifetime Christmas Dinner

On the third night, we will hold a Christmas dinner with creators from different fields such as cheese, wine, and dessert. To celebrate the 1st anniversary and Christmas, we invite “creators” from each genre to the event for a special night together in winter Hakuba. Please enjoy a Christmas dinner full of taste and encounters that “savor the thoughts.”

1st Anniversary Event, Second Edition
Enjoy the blessings of the Hokuriku Sea of Japan x the blessings of the Shinshu Land

On the second night, we will hold a wine event with wineries from Himi, Toyama, and Komoro, Nagano. Hokuriku is known for the sea. Toyama’s Says Farm wine is nurtured by sea breeze and melted snow. Shinshu is known for the mountains. Nagano/Terre de Ciel wine is nurtured at an altitude of 950m, in the “land of the sky.” Please enjoy a pairing dinner where you can taste the two personalities nurtured by different climates in one night’s course.

1st Anniversary Event, First Edition
“JILLE Premium LIVE feat. Onko Chishin”

We will be holding a special one-night dinner show “JILLE Premium LIVE feat. Onko Chishin” with JILLE, a singer-songwriter active both domestically and internationally. Onko Chishin and JILLE will work together to create a new “retreat journey.” We offer a new form of travel that opens up the senses through cuisine and music, which can only be achieved by Onko Chishin and JILLE.

Exquisite Japanese Wine and French Cuisine
Onko Chishin of Japanese Wine

An event that condenses the charm of Japanese wine into one night, inviting the creators of three historical wineries from Nagano, Yamanashi, and Yamagata to taste the exquisite vintage nurtured by the region’s climate. Enjoy wines from carefully selected back vintages to the latest vintages, each with its own unique character, paired with French cuisine prepared by Chef Imanishi of LA VIGNE DINING FÙDO, who took office in April.

A special tour of the Villa d’Est Winery with President Takashi Konishi

The day after the wine event, we will hold a special tour of the Villa d’Est Garden Farm and Winery, owned by Toyoo Tamamura. On this tour, Takashi Konishi, President of Villa d’Est Winery, will give you a special tour. Feel the terroir of the Chikuma River Wine Valley, which is characterized by its cool climate, and spend a blissful moment tasting wine while gazing at the vineyard landscape in front of you.

Wine Talk by Tama and
Nagano Wine & Dinner Evening

As the first in a series of special events to promote the appeal of Japanese wine, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Konishi, President and CEO of Villa d’Est Winery Co., Ltd., for a special talk session and pairing dinner, limited to 40 guests. This is an exquisite marriage of Shinshu Wine Valley wines carefully selected by Mr. Tamamura and French cuisine based on ingredients grown in the soil of Shinshu, prepared by the head chef of La Vigne Hakuba.
